AEW TV Deal ‘Definitely Not Signed’ Yet, Remains In Advanced Talks With Turner

It was recently reported that Turner Sports would be presenting All Elite Wrestling (AEW) to their advertisers next month, and will be debuting around the same time WWE’s SmackDown Live heads over to FOX. The report also included that AEW will air on Tuesdays. However, in an updated report from The Wrap, it turns out a deal isn’t quite set in stone yet.

The report confirms that Turner is in advanced talks to land a weekly AEW TV show, which would likely air on TNT. However, the report also includes that a deal is “definitely not signed” just yet. Conversations have been described as “pretty complex” and “not imminent.” It would be ideal for an agreement to be reached before Turner’s mid-May upfront in which they pitch new programming to potential advertisers, however, nothing is definite.

Also, it was mentioned that AEW could be broadcasted by Turner on a multi-platform basis. Turner’s B/R Live was mentioned as a possible streaming outlet for AEW. We’ll keep you updated as more information regarding a possible AEW TV deal becomes available.
