Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer reported his latest episode of “Wrestling Observer Radio” with Bryan Alvarez that Daniel Bryan could possibly be dealing with an injury.
According to Meltzer, Daniel Bryan went home after his match against Kofi Kingston as did AJ Styles who suffered a hip injury. Meltzer heard something about a “possible injury” to the Planet’s Champion. (transcription credit should go to @DominicDeAngelo of WrestleZone)
Daniel Bryan might be injured, I’m not sure. From what I understand, I don’t know if he was waiting to be examined, but coming out of Mania there was a possible injury to him, is all I heard. That’s why he was not at TV. Him and AJ [Styles] both went home. AJ people saw limping and I guess that got out and I guess Daniel Bryan must’ve been able to sneak home with nobody seeing him, because nobody brought it up, but I don’t know what’s going on in his case, so I guess we’ll probably find out in the next couple days, if anything.
