It was an emotional night as Kurt Angle wrestled his farewell match at WrestleMania 35. The Olympian came out to a crowd chanting “you suck,” but with no malice behind them. He had the adoration of everyone involved.
While Angle had a quick start, the younger Corbin quickly found an advantage. He started to lay into the WWE Hall of Famer and delivered some punishing blows. However, he didn’t stop at physical punishment. He also mocked Angle’s family, who were in attendance.

Angle didn’t take kind to that and he delivered some great German suplexes to Corbin. However, a big boot from Corbin evened up the match. A Deep Six had some thinking it was over, but Angle showed his resilience and kicked out. After getting himself back into the bout, Angle took the straps down on his singlet and applied the Angle Lock. It looked bad for Corbin, but he managed to escape. However, that just led to him taking a series of German suplexes from the legendary wrestler.

The crowd started to give Angle a standing ovation and he then went to the top rope. He went for a moonsault, but Corbin moved out of the way and then delivered the End of Days. That was all she wrote for Angle, as Corbin ended the career.
Afterwards, Angle thanked the fans and asked them to chant “you suck!” on his way out of the ring.
