The Usos Retain SmackDown Tag Team Titles In An Action-Packed Bout

The Usos were punished for allowing The New Day to win a forfeit victory against them and had to take on four of SmackDown’s best tag teams at WrestleMania 35 because of it. They took on Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev, The Bar, and two of NXT’s brightest stars in Aleister Black and Ricochet.

As one would expect, the match revolved around teams trying to keep the action in their corner as foes could easily tag in if an opponent was in their corner. Due to this, The Usos weren’t legal for most of the match. Instead The Bar and the team of Nakamura & Rusev were able to take advantage of the inexperienced Ricochet and Aleister Black. Both had to dig deep as they took plenty of damage.

The action was quick during the entire duration of the bout and there was an absolutely crazy superplex that involved all four teams. Ricochet would go on to hit the 630 on Sheamus, but it was broken up by participants of all three opposing teams. Jey Uso would tag himself in and then both brothers hit Sheamus with two dives to retain the belts.
