Rey Mysterio has issued a statement on Instagram where he confirms that he suffered an injury on Monday Night RAW against Baron Corbin. Rey also attached footage of when the incident occurred, with a series of fans and WWE superstars alike voicing their support for the former World Heavyweight Champion in the comments. The status of Mysterio’s US Championship match against Samoa Joe at WrestleMania 35 this Sunday is currently unknown.
