Yesterday, former TNA X-Division Champion Amazing Red announced that he was hanging up his boots. Jonathan Figueroa posted an emotional video going over his decision to walk away while he’s still healthy. He will continue being a coach at House of Glory.
A number of stars have shown gratitude since then:
This video should go viral. Pay respect to someone who helped innovate & inspire a generation. Class act all the way.
vs. Ki, vs. Joe, w/AJ vs Briscoes, etc…
The list of matches I’ll never forget is too long to list. All the best! Nothing but respect! ✊? https://t.co/KJ9qqXvXmg

Amazing Red had a bigger influence on cruiserweight/Indy wrestling than most of the current generation will ever know.
Influenced so many wrestlers across the world including myself and all the original @ATTACKWrestling guys.
Thanks for all you’ve given to wrestling, Red! https://t.co/1sCyiSGCvQ

Red originated the style of wrestling that was popularized on the independents and crept its way to TV. A pioneer and one of my best friends. Red is a legend. https://t.co/YMrm8BJVgo
