Enzo Amore: ‘Everyone In The Wrestling Business Are The Biggest Marks’

Another clip from Enzo Amore’s shoot video with the Title Match Network has been released. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion talked about the importance of the WWE performance center and why wrestlers are actually “the biggest marks.”

“Make no mistake about it, I’m a mark,” said Amore. “Everyone in the wrestling business are the biggest marks. In this world, the WWE understood that there’s no bigger investment that they can make than in the talent. The talent is the life blood of the industry. Without wrestlers, there’s nobody selling popcorn or putting lights on, and nobody in the arena. So, WWE invested in their talent by building the performance center, they built green screens, they brought the elite of the business to teach them knowledge and psychology of the business. I was sitting side by side with Dusty trying to understand that.”

He went on to explain his statement more. “When I mention my name in the likes of The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Triple H, the people in promo class are going, ‘He’s a mark. Who does he think he is comparing himself to those people?’ I’m going, ‘You idiots. We’re under the roof of the performance center and one of us doesn’t come out of this place and become the next Rock then we’ve got no life blood left in our business. The business needs stars! More importantly, the business needs the next Vince McMahon too.”
