As we previously reported, The Young Bucks will be facing off against the Lucha Bros at AEW’s Double or Nothing event on May 25. It was confirmed last night that this match will now be for the AAA Tag Team Championships. The Young Bucks appeared after Pentagon & Fenix won the AAA Tag Team titles from El Texano Jr. & Rey Escorpion and proceeded to win the titles from Pentagon & Fenix in an impromptu match.
Later on a partnership was announced between AEW and AAA that will see the brands working together moving forward.
