WWE Reportedly Issues Directive On Talent Selling Injuries More Carefully

According to a source speaking with Wrestlezone, WWE recently held a meeting and issued a directive to be careful as to what and how they are selling things during matches.

The source noted that there was a spot between Becky Lynch and Nia Jax during the Women’s Royal Rumble match, where Jax shoved Becky off of the steps, and Becky sold her right knee (which made contact first) immediately. It might have gone unnoticed, but Becky was supposed to sell her left knee first, and ended up switching as she rolled on the floor (seen at the 2 hour, 29 minute mark of the Royal Rumble broadcast).

It was said that talent need to be much more careful with selling things like that due to cameras being everywhere, and Becky probably got a pass because she’s been so hot as of late, and it didn’t seem to catch as much attention as it could have.
