The Title Match Network has released another clip from their shoot video with Enzo Amore. The former Cruiserweight Champion discussed his time teaming with Carmella and Liv Morgan. Amore was on board with teaming with the former because it seemed like a way to boost his chances of receiving a main roster promotion.
“Dusty [Rhodes] loved the visual of us,” said Amore. “So Dusty wanted it and anything Dusty wanted, I was more than game. If it was a way for us to get out of NXT and to the main roster … and that was clearly the goal, I was down with it.”
Amore pointed out that Carmella isn’t actually from New Jersey, unlike Liv Morgan. “Liv Morgan is from [North Jersey.] I know it was difficult for her at the beginning stages of watching Carmella do her schtick, knowing she’s not from our area,” said Amore. “But she made whatever happened with her work too because she [also] got called up to the main roster. ”
