According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), AJ Styles expected to re-sign with WWE. As of now, Styles has not signed a new contract with WWE and his current deal will end shortly. But all signs point to him staying with WWE.
It is known that Styles has personal relationships with those in All Elite Wrestling. But even those at AEW never expected Styles to sign there. Although AEW would have wanted Styles, Wrestling Observer notes that Styles has never expressed any interest.
With “The Phenomenal One” turning 42 in June, he reportedly likes the stability of WWE at this point in his career. This Sunday Styles is not on the card for Fastlaneand no WrestleMania match has been announced for the former WWE Champion at this point.
