WWE shocked the wrestling world when they announced that Dean Ambrose would not be re-signing with the company. However, Ambrose has become a key player over the past month and could be rejoining The Shield if last week was any indication. Could that mean that Ambrose is sticking around?
That’s the belief of many wrestlers backstage according to the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live. While not reporting that Ambrose re-signing was a fact or 100% happening, Bryan Alvarez stated that the general word backstage is that many believe he’s no longer leaving the company. However, this could just be a simple case of wrestlers believing in something that won’t actually happen.
Only time will tell what Ambrose decides to do, but this certainly would explain why he’s had such a prominent spot as of late.
