Ronda Rousey On Laying Down The Women’s Championship: ‘I Really Love This Job, But I Don’t Need It’

Ronda Rousey addressed events from WWE RAW on her latest episode of ‘Ronda On The Road’, explaining what motivated her to leave her championship in the ring on Monday.

Ronda was asked about the in-ring segment with her laying down the title in front of Stephanie McMahon after being attacked by Becky Lynch, and she expanded on her remarks from Monday, saying:

“The thing is,  I love this job. I really love this job, but I don’t need it at all. Not in the least little bit. The second I’m not happy, I reserve the right to walk out the door and live happily ever after with the love of my life.

And ‘The Authority’—so they are called in this company—they are just used to bullying everyone around. And like I said, they give them just enough for them to like, live a lavish lifestyle, but still have to come back. I don’t.”
