All Elite Wrestling’s Trademark Application Initially Refused

An application for the trademark ‘All Elite Wrestling’ has initially been refused, according to PWInsider. AEW filed for the trademark, but was refused because the company needs to modify its Identification of Goods and Services. AEW also needs to pay the proper fees and disclaim that the company is not claiming exclusive right to use the word ‘wrestling.’

Along with the trademark ‘All Elite Wrestling,’ the AEW logo and the phrase ‘Change the Universe’ have also been refused for trademarks for the same reasons mentioned above. One other factor is due to pending applications for the phrase ‘All Out’ which could have an impact on AEW’s application.

AEW’s first show ‘Double or Nothing’ is on May 25th.
