Velveteen Dream is your new NXT North American Champion. The exciting young superstar managed to defeat Johnny Gargano in an excellent match on tonight’s episode of NXT.
This marks the first time that Dream has held a belt within the WWE developmental brand. He had previously faced off against Ricochet for the North American belt and Ciampa for the NXT Championship, but came up short both times. Now, he’s established himself as a singles competitor worthy of wearing gold.
