The following matches and results make up tonight’s NXT TV taping results from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida:
- Tonight will see the first round and semi-finals of the Dusty Rhodes Classic. Mia Yim vs. Shayna Baszler, and Io Shirai vs. Bianca Belair in a #1 contender bout.
- War Raiders defeat Vandal Ortagun & Chico Adams.
- Johnny Gargano comes out and says that it’s been an interesting few weeks. He said that he showed everyone what NXT was about by winning on RAW and SmackDown, but that he failed as a champion against Dream. Ciampa then comes out and says that they work best as a team and that Gargano lost because he refused his help. Ciampa then invites Gargano to join him in the Dusty Rhodes Classic. Gargano accepts his former foe’s offer and they agree to team together.
- Vanessa Borne & Aliyah defeat Xia Li & Taynara Conti.
- Dominik Dijakovic vs. Keith Lee goes to a double count-out. They continue to brawl after the match has ended.
- Shayna Baszler defeats Mia Yim.
- Quarterfinal matches for the Dusty Rhodes Classic are the following: Moustache Mountain vs. Street Profits, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch vs. Forgotten Sons, Aleister Black & Ricochet vs. Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel, and #DIY vs. Undisputed Era.
- Aleister Black & Ricochet defeat Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel to advance to the semi-finals.
- Forgotten Sons defeat Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch to advance to the semi-finals.
- Dream comes out to cut a promo but is interrupted by Matt Riddle. Riddle says that he wants a title shot.
- Moustache Mountain defeat Street Profits to advance to the semi-finals.
- DIY defeat Undisputed Era to advance to the semi-finals. Afterwards, War Raiders come out and stare at the newly reformed team.
- Luke Menzies defeats Eric Bugenhagen.
- Sasha Banks & Bayley appear and reveal that their tag titles will be defended in NXT as well as the main roster.
- Adam Cole defeats Punishment Martinez. After the victory, Cole calls out Velveteen Dream. Dream comes out and slaps Cole. They brawl until Martinez takes out Cole and then Dream hits an elbow drop from the top rope.
- Forgotten Sons defeat Moustache Mountain to advance to the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Classic.
- Io Shirai vs. Bianca Belair is a no contest after Shayna Baszler attacks both of them. Kairi Sane tries to save them but gets choked out.
- Ricochet & Aleister Black defeat DIY as Ricochet pins Ciampa. After the match, Candice comes out to check on her husband.
