Shane McMahon opened SmackDown Live with an exciting announcement. He watched RAW last night and was so impressed with how the NXT stars performed that he invited on the show. They’ll wind up being in action tonight.

However, Shane was quickly interrupted by none other than his tag team partner, The Miz. He quickly told Shane that he “used him” because he knew that McMahon could relate to his father issues. He then went on to thank Shane for getting his own father to tell him that he loved him, and that Miz felt like he let Shane down by losing the belts at Elimination Chamber. He then said that a championship rematch should be in store and the crowd quickly started chanting “rematch!”

However, they were quickly interrupted by the team that defeated them, The Usos. They said that there’s no automatic rematch clauses anymore and that Shane McMahon needs to “dig deep” to forgive The Miz. “The only reason you don’t want this rematch is because your boy Miz is a joke, a failure, a wannabe A-lister with C-list skills,” said the brothers.

“You do not disrespect my partner like that, you dig?” said McMahon. “The rematch is on and it’s happening at Fastlane in Cleveland, Ohio.”
