Lana hopped on Twitter to choose sides for this Sunday’s WWE RAW Women’s Championship match at WWE Elimination Chamber between Ronda Rousey and Ruby Riott. “The Ravishing Russian” is putting her chips behind Riott also followed up with some comments regarding why she wants Riott to take the title, claiming that Ronda hasn’t changed the game for WWE and hasn’t brought in the ratings for the company.
Who cares about what’s best for business or what these people want?! You’re so focused on giving the #WomensEvolution what they deserve, that you’re not even looking at #EliminationChamber. So I’ll gladly take your title & main event #Wrestlemania whether they like it or not. https://t.co/aLZSBJWtey

I would be thrilled if you took her place ! So overrated she is ! ? I mean she claims to change the game yet she can’t bring ratings …. soooo ummm ?

She drew one million pay per view buys in UFC three times. To say she hasn’t changed the game is crazy

She ? percent change the game in UFC but this is WWE and she hasn’t changed the game here

I am just saying I rather have Ruby as champion. Hate me for that ! I don’t care. Everyone hates me anyways ?

Author’s Note: I get what Lana means, but she’s also not factoring the impact Ronda made on the deal with Fox. That alone is worth her presence in the company. Plus, you consider the often treacherous three hours she’s encased in, it makes it tough for anyone to see an upswing when you have the same old stuff week in and week out (even after that McMahon “apology”). Not sure why she’d say anything about this though. Doesn’t seem beneficial by any sort.
