WWE Superstar Cesaro recently spoke with Wrestlezone’s Kevin Kellam ahead of WWE’s recent live event in DeKalb, Illinois.

Cesaro spoke about his positive outlook of life, and said he believes you need to be able to poke fun at yourself and find humor in life:

“All of the time. That happens all of the time. I just think you need to have a positive attitude, especially nowadays, you need to have a sense of humor. I always try to have a sense of humor about myself; you need to be able to laugh with people and also at and about [yourself]. Not everything you do has to be super serious. There’s definitely some stuff that I wear or used to wear, or I used to do in the ring that I look back and I’m like ‘oh, what was I thinking?’ All of that stuff made me who I am today, so it’s all great. I just think we need to have a little sense of humor about yourself and just live and learn, take some chances.”

Cesaro said humorous things like this happen all of the time in WWE, and recalled a live event incident where he kicked The New Day’s pancakes out of the ring:

“All of the time, especially on live events. That just happens—the other day I kicked The New Day’s platter of pancakes halfway down the ramp out of the ring—that just made everybody laugh. I was super serious and a bunch of people starting cracking up, so I had trouble keeping a straight face. There’s so much stuff, and we try to make each other laugh from time to time, we’re trying to have a good time. We’re on the road so much and it’s like family when you’re there, and I believe if [we’re] having fun, then the people watching you are having fun. That’s the magic of what we do in WWE.”
