Brandi Rhodes On Doing Community Outreach For AEW, The Right Time For AEW’s Women’s Title

Wrestlezone was on hand as All Elite Wrestling’s Chief Brand Officer Brandi Rhodes took part in a media scrum after last week’s Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party in Las Vegas.

Brandi was asked what aspects of the job she’s looking forward to that she hasn’t really gotten to do yet, and she said community outreach is something she’s taking an interest in.

“I’ve done a little bit of community outreach. Just a little bit because I’m just getting started, and that has been the most fun. Talking to different organizations on different things that we can do together, just making people happy, that has been my favorite so far.

I’m working with a lot of different things in Vegas to see what kind of different things we can do at Double Or Nothing. We should have some cool dignitaries there, that we’ll be able to have to watch the show, and maybe do some cool activities with some of these groups. That stuff is fun.”

Brandi was also asked if she expects to see a women’s championship match at Double Or Nothing, but said she personally would like to see that title introduced on the appropriate stage:

“You said ‘am I expecting’—I am not expecting that to be that quick. There obviously will be a Women’s Championship for sure, but as far as Double Or Nothing goes, it’s amiss to do too many things at once. Some things get ‘lost in the sauce’ and [the women’s title] is a huge thing. I personally would like to take our time with that.”
