WWE Superstar Cesaro recently spoke with Wrestlezone’s Kevin Kellam ahead of WWE’s recent live event in DeKalb, Illinois.
With all of the success he has had with Sheamus as The Bar, fans still want to know if there’s another singles run in his future:
“I hope. I definitely still have some solo goals in WWE—so does Sheamus—who knows what the future holds. We are The Bar, but we both still have goals and we both want to have some singles success, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see.”
Cesaro was also asked about the impending Superstar Shakeup in April, and he said The Bar is capable of having a great match with anyone, but still hopes to be in the ring with the best around:
“We pretty much have barnburners with every team. There’s always new teams, there’s always great teams, and you always want to be in the ring with the best. I feel like the SmackDown tag team division right now is unreal, and I feel like RAW is going through a ‘rebuild’ of their division. Let’s see where that is when we get to the Shake-Up, and whoever [thinks] they are the best team in WWE then, let’s see if they try to shake us up, if you will.”
The subject of his recent roadside selfie with Daniel Bryan came up, and Cesaro said they had a minor car accident while traveling, and took time out to ‘commemorate’ the occasion:
“Our rental car had Formula 1 tires. You know those really slick ones that have zero profile? When you try to stop with tires like that on an icy road, you might just slide off the road into the grass, and that’s exactly what happened. Nobody was hurt, the car wasn’t damaged, we were out of the ditch within an hour and back on the road, but you’re on the road so many hours that you just have to smile about stuff like that.”
