Yesterday was the sixteen year anniversary in which professional wrestling suffered one of its greatest losses as Mr. Perfect, Curt Hennig, passed away at the young age of 44. Hennig had a major legacy which spanned over the course of three of the industry’s biggest promotions starting off in the AWA, continuing in the WWF and going into WCW before returning to the WWF once more at the 2002 Royal Rumble in a memorable final run with the company. Hennig’s son, Curtis Axel, honored his father yesterday and so did a good deal of the wrestling community.
