ROH was in Lakeland, FL last night for TV tapings and Nick Aldis was asked what he would be doing in the Crockett Cup this year. He said he would be participating in the tournament and eventually Marty Scurll made his way out to the ring.
Scurll was asked to be his partner in the tag team tournament but Scurll instead challenged Aldis to an NWA Championship match. Aldis accepted the challenge. The Crockett Cup is taking place at Cabarrus Arena in Concord, North Carolina on Saturday, April 27. It has been confirmed that New Japan Pro Wrestling and CMLL are sending teams to take part in it.
