Sasha Banks is reportedly dealing with an injury that is not allowing her to compete. Banks missed weekend live events and has not been cleared following her Royal Rumble match with Ronda Rousey.
This past Monday on Raw, Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross to advance to Elimination Chamber and compete for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The babyface duo survived a pre-match attack, but Bayley had to work the match by herself
On the most recent Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Banks is legitimately injured, hence the reason Bayley worked a whole matched by herself. In most cases, WWE wouldn’t even allow injured talent near ringside, but this was important for storylines for the team of Banks and Bayley to advance therefore an exception might’ve been called.
It is fully believed that Sasha Banks will be able to go by Elimination Chamber which will be held Sunday, February 17th.
