Lance Archer Eats Pineapple On Pizza, Says He Can’t Spit Water In New Japan Anymore

Pro Wrestling Sheet Editor-in-Chief Ryan Satin recently dined with New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Lance Archer to discuss a very controversial topic—pineapple on pizza.

As seen in the video below, Archer, a pineapple advocate, also talks about where social media can be a good tool for people. Archer says it’s at your fingertips and right there, but on the other hand it’s faceless and can result in people attacking others without consequence.

When Satin joked about getting water spit in his face for upsetting him, Archer said that the act had been vetoed by New Japan and he is no longer allowed to do that. Archer explained the reasoning behind it, saying:

“A small portion of the New Japan audience—the majority of them loved it, to the point where now we’re getting off track, but I love this subject—I would go through the audience and do the water spraying and spitting, throwing, all of that stuff. People were now holding signs, in Japan [written] in English ‘Water Please.’

I came around a corner one time, and an adult father had his child, maybe 1 1/2 or 2 years old, held up waiting for me to come around a corner and spray the child. My conscience kicked in like ‘nope’ and I went around the child, and he looked disappointed, like ‘ahh, you didn’t christen my child!’

I think there was a small portion of the audience unfortunately that were complaining about bags and their hair, and that got listened to. Now I can’t do it anymore. Breaking news, so if you didn’t like the water—which makes you silly—don’t worry, you’re not getting it.”
