Many have speculated that Charlotte Flair would be added to the planned Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey title bout, especially after the angle seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live. However, that isn’t the case according to Sports Illustrated. Reporter Justin Barrasso says that he’s been told that the main event will be a one-on-one affair with Lynch challenging Rousey for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship.
Of course, it’s worth noting that this is in direct contrast to what the Wrestling Observer reported earlier this week. Their sources state that a triple threat match is planned and that a storyline will add Charlotte into the match. A match currently being advertised for WWE Fastlane (spoilers at the link) seemingly supports this.
Either way, it’s clear that the road to WrestleMania will be an exciting one.
