Shawn Michaels At The Royal Rumble

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels replaced fellow Hall of Famer, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, as co-host of the second hour of the Royal Rumble Kickoff show. Michaels showed up adorned in NXT gear and having won the Royal Rumble Match in both 1995 and 1996, talked about his method of success. Michaels capitalized on his 1996 Royal Rumble victory to defeat Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart for the WWE Championship at a classic one hour plus Iron Man Match at WrestleMania 12.

Michaels last wrestled for the WWE at November’s Crown Jewel pay-per-view, but has been adamant about staying retired. Could he be a surprise entrant in tonight’s Royal Rumble match? Sound off in the comments section below.
