“Which Johnny Gargano am I going to get tonight?” asked Ricochet early on in their match for the NXT North American Championship. His challenger responded with a stiff elbow and made it clear that he wasn’t going to be a gentleman tonight.

The match itself was a high flying affair with Ricochet doing some incredible dives and maneuvers throughout. However it was some technical wrestling that stole the show as their grappling prowess was on display (as seen above) in between acrobatic feats.
The ending sequence would see Ricochet hit an incredible 450, but Gargano showed the will to kick out. The two traded moves back and forth, with Ricochet even managing to lock the “Gargano Escape” on his opponent. The final stretch would feature Gargano hitting a brainbuster on Ricochet while the floor was exposed and then following it up with a slingshot DDT to win the championship.
