The Nerd Mag is reporting on a leaked email that made its way to Reddit, involving RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey & a possible upcoming role in a classic video game series.
According to the leaked email, Rousey will play Sonya Blade in the new Mortal Kombat 11 video game. According to the email, Rousey will be at MK Day and a part of the live stream stage celebration. The email also states that a short video package will be played, introducing the WWE Superstar. The Reddit user also provided a copy of the email, which can be seen via the tweet below:

The report also revealed a new character named Geras, who will also reportedly get the video package treatment as well.
The Reddit user also revealed the game’s cover art, which was confirmed Thursday afternoon by Mortal Kombat creative director Ed Boon:

According to Nerd Mag, “Mortal Kombat 11 has a big reveal on January 17th 2019 with a full release for the game scheduled on April 23rd, 2019.” The game will be available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
