Chris Jericho appeared on Busted Open Radio to talk about his monumental move to the new All Elite Wrestling promotion being started by the Khan family alongside Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks.

In this clip shared by the Busted Open team on Twitter, Jericho talks very openly about there a strong TV deal on the table and says that if the promotion is able to land a deal with one of the networks that he is aware of them being in negotiations with, fans and wrestlers alike will know that All Elite Wrestling is the real deal. Below are some quotes from Jericho:

“There’s a whole backstage element that’s being signed of all the things that you see in WWE from Talent Relations, to Booking Agents, to Director of the show.

As far as TV goes, I mean that’s one of the things, I wouldn’t have gone to all Elite if there wasn’t a strong TV deal on the table and there’s a couple that I know that are on the table that are like, ‘Wow, that’s what they need.'”

Chris would go on further to say that the prospective TV deals will definitely allow all those who are curious about the promotion to know that this is a new major force in the industry.

“By me joining the company I think fans, and wrestlers most importantly think, ‘holy shit, if Jericho went there this is the real deal.’ And yes, the television deals that are being talked about, once again nothing is set in stone, but if it’s one of the three that I know people will go okay this is the real deal.”
