Wrestling fans are almost swamped with fantastic podcasts to listen to. From news-based shows like our own WZ Daily to in-depth retrospectives like The Lapsed Fan, there’s no lack in variety. However, one of the most popular show types involve interviews, and there’s no better wrestling interviewer than Chris Jericho.
Not only is Jericho willing to touch on more taboo topics and do retrospectives on controversial subjects like Chris Benoit, but he chooses interesting guests from historians like Dave Meltzer to many of the biggest stars in professional wrestling history. No matter the subject, there is always an interesting discussion to be had that will teach the listener a thing or two.
That’s why it’s no surprise that Talk Is Jericho won our Podcast of the Year vote. Jericho continues to be a success at anything he does from wrestling to music, and especially podcasting.
