According to MMA Weekly, Brock Lesnar has yet to pay a fine that would clear the path for him to return to mixed martial arts in early 2019. Lesnar would be eligible to return on January 8th, 2019 following his six-month re-entry into the USADA testing program, but he has yet to pay a $250,000 fine that is required in order to get back into the Octagon.

“(Lesnar) is still suspended based on his fine,” said NSAC executive director Bob Bennett back in July when talking to MMA Weekly. “He is required to pay the fine or set up a payment plan with the Attorney General’s Office (to get cleared from the suspension).”

MMA Weekly followed up this week, receiving confirmation that Lesnar has not yet paid the fine. Brock has been tipped to face Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight Championship, with some suggesting that the fight could go down at UFC 235 on March 2nd.
