All Elite Wrestling Officially Unveiled, Double Or Nothing Announced

Update: The new Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required) episode unveiled a bunch of additional information. More official announcements are expected to be made soon, but currently the only signed talent are Cody and a few others. The Young Bucks are not currently signed, but are expected to get the legal paperwork filled out in the next couple of days. While there is no current television deal, there are reportedly “multiple offers” they are fielding. Apparently, television providers were impressed by how successful All In was.

Financially, it’s being backed by Tony Khan, who is the head of All Elite Wrestling. Chris Jericho isn’t signed to the company (yet), but he did tease it by posting that recent Instagram photo. It’s unknown if they will have a working relationship with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, but the AEW guys want to continue working there as well. Contracts to All Elite Wrestling are multi-year deals.

It’s finally official. The Young Bucks, Adam Page, and Cody Rhodes are teaming up for All Elite Wrestling. They officially announced the promotion as soon as it hit January 1, 2019 on the west coast in a new episode of Being The Elite.

Official details are scarce at the moment, but they did show a logo for “Double or Nothing,” which appears to be the brand’s first show and the follow-up to All In.
