WWE Network Edits Matches Involving Sex Offender Out Of AWA Christmas Shows

WWE has been putting some historical oddities up on the WWE Network in their fantastic Hidden Gems section, but the recent AWA Christmas shows from 1981 and 1982 have been altered.

As noted by the Wrestling Observer, not only did they mistakenly put two matches from the 1981 event on the 1982 card (Nick Bockwinkel vs. Billy Robinson and Hulk Hogan & Tito Santana vs. Ken Patera & Bobby Duncum), but they removed matches from both cards that involved Buck Zumhofe. Zumhofe was an AWA mainstay, but was sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2014 after being jailed over sexually abusing his own daughter. He also had legal issues in 1986, where he was found guilty of sexual misconduct with a minor and jailed for three years.

Do you think WWE made the right choice by editing out the matches? Let us know in the comments below.
