BJ Whitmer Reportedly Departs From ROH

Pro Wrestling Sheet has reported that Ring of Honor mainstay BJ Whitmer has resigned from the company. The report cited that Whitmer, who worked as a trainer at the ROH dojo and operations manager, was frustrated with management in which it led to his departure. Whitmer joins the long list of talent leaving ROH that includes Christopher Daniels, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, and Cody Rhodes.

Starting as a wrestler at ROH in 2003, he was known for his nearly two-year long feud with Jimmy Jacobs and later forming a stable with him and Roderick Strong that was known as ‘The Decade’.

Indie Couple Makes It Official

Love is indeed in the air. Independent wrestlers Jonathan Gresham and his longtime girlfriend Jordynne Grace got officially engaged, revealed earlier on Grace’s Twitter page. The two commonly worked together at Beyond Wrestling before Gresham moved on to wrestle in Ring Of Honor and PROGRESS Wrestling. Grace recently made her debut on IMPACT Wrestling, feuding with Katarina.

Last year, Pro Wrestling Sheet reported the couple had an impromptu wedding ceremony officiated by Nikita Koloff after getting engaged on tour. According to reports, Grace popped the question on a Canadian tour with a plastic pirate ring. It was noted that Nikita had previously been an ordained minister, but his credentials had expired at the time of this ceremony. While last year’s wedding might be more of a ceremonial thing, Grace and Gresham appear to have taken the next step and made things official with a new ring.
