2018 Wrestlezone Year-End Awards – Tag Team Of The Year

Wrestlezone announced nominations for our 2018 Wrestlezone Year-End Awards earlier today. Voting will take place now through Sunday, December 30th. Fans can vote for all ten categories by choosing a listed option or writing in a pick. CLICK HERE to vote for each category and submit your choices.

In the run up to the awards, we’ll be going through the nominees each day. Today’s subject will be: Tag Team of the Year.

The Young Bucks

The Jackson brothers continued to have a stellar year in NJPW and Ring of Honor. They put on match of the year contenders in both companies, and even main evented All In.

LAX

IMPACT struck gold with LAX this year. The revamped team put on some great matches, and some memorable feuds with past members of the stable.

The New Day

This year saw The New Day win the tag team belts for the third time, and they continued to entertain in both in-ring and backstage segments.

The Bar

The current WWE SmackDown champions have been putting on solid matches all year long. Few can go in the ring as well as Cesaro and Sheamus.

The Undisputed Era

Easily NXT’s best team, The Undisputed Era has been firing on all cylinders as a faction. No matter what pairing, or solo, the team has been shining in WWE developmental.

Golden Lovers

Not only did Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi tell a fantastic story as the Golden Lovers, they also put on one of the best tag matches of all-time against The Young Bucks earlier this year.

The Usos

It was another excellent year for The Usos. Their character work remains top-notch, and the duo can have a good match with anybody.

The Briscoe Brothers

These Ring of Honor veterans showed that they had plenty left in the tank at Final Battle this year. Not only did they recapture the belts that they’ve held many times before, but they put on a brutal match as well.

Of course, these are only a few of the incredible teams that had a great 2018. As such, you can write-in any wrestler you want for your vote from Heavy Machinery to the B-Team.
