Kelly Klein Ready To Step Up In 2019

New Women Of Honor World Champion Kelly Klein spoke with 1Wrestling.com’s Bill Apter at last week’s Ring Of Honor TV tapings in Philadelphia.

“The Gatekeeper” talks to Apter about how she broke into wrestling, her other career as a music teacher, and her path to the Women’s Championship at Final Battle. In regards to her future as Women’s Champion, Klein said:

“I am always open to any opportunity, I want to always be better and get better. I want to be around people that challenge me and make me better. That’s one of the things I love about Ring Of Honor. This year, and going into 2019 with the Women Of Honor championship is giving me the opportunity and a big responsibility to step up every chance I get, every time I’m in the ring. That is my plan and my intention, and I want that to force all of the other women and all of the other competitors to step up their game as well.”

Klein issued an open challenge to the women’s roster and said all of her matches will now be title matches; she will defend the title against Jenny Rose at Honor Reigns Supreme in Concord, North Carolina next month.
