Smackdown Women’s Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs Naomi
Asuka and Naomi trade arm drags. Flair and Lynch are watching from the announce desk. Asuka tries a kick but Naomi splits under it. Asuka and Naomi both attempts dropkicks at the same time, leading to a stalemate. Spine rattling kick by Naomi. Naomi goes for another kick but Asuka turns it into the ankle lock. Naomi escapes and hits the atomic buster for a near fall. Asuka and Naomi trade pin attempts. Naomi tries a leapfrog but Asuka kicks her in the gut. Naomi goes up top. Asuka puts Naomi in octopus hold on the top rope. Asuka yells that she is the champion at Lynch and Flair. Naomi grabs Asuka from behind and hits a side Russian leg sweep off the second rope.
After the break, Asuka is kicking the heck out of Naomi outside the ring. Asuka whips Naomi into the barricade but Naomi springs up the barricade and hits the disaster kick. Asuka and Naomi are almost counted out. Asuka and Naomi trade strikes. Asuka floors Naomi with a pop-up knee to the face. Asuka charges in and runs right into a boot by Naomi. Naomi tries the split legged moonsault. Asuka gets her knees up and rolls Naomi into the Asuka Lock. Naomi keeps reversing the hold but Asuka counters Naomi’s reversals with the Asuka Lock. Naomi hits the Rear View. Naomi hits the ropes but Asuka blasts her with a double kneed code breaker. Asuka puts Naomi in the Asuka Lock again. Naomi taps out.

Backstage, the Miz knocks on Shane’s office door. Mr. McMahon walks out and says Shane can’t come out to play right now. Miz pitches the best tag team in the world idea to Mr. McMahon. Mr. McMahon says Miz can have the chance to prove himself. Mr. McMahon says he is going to put Miz in a match. Mr. McMahon is going to pick Miz’s opponents and his partner.
Backstage, Rusev and Lana make fun of the way Shinsuke Nakamura looks. Rusev says Nakamura looks like Sonic the Hedgehog.
