With a little help from his friends, Braun Strowman returned at Tables, Ladders, and Chairs to defeat Baron Corbin, effectively ending his run as acting RAW general manager and earning his Universal Title shot.

Corbin, with Heath Slater acting as referee, was hoping that Strowman wouldn’t show up and lose by forfeit due to his elbow injury. As Slater proceeded to start the count out, Strowman’s music would hit and he would walk to the ring with his right arm in a sling. Strowman would tell Corbin that this was the perfect opportunity to put an end to him and he had own form of assistance. This cued in Apollo Crews, Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, Finn Balor, Heath Slater, and Kurt Angle to surround the ring and attack Corbin one by one.

With Corbin decimated and outnumbered, Strowman took advantaged and pinned the former general manager with Heath Slater counting the fall.

With this victory, Strowman will officially be in line to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.
