In what is expected to be a major weekend for wrestling fans everywhere, Shinjiro Otani is one of the latest names to have a heavy slate come April.
As announced early in the month, Otani along with Astushi ONITA will be participating in “The Collective” weekend involving Game Changer Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling, and NOVA Pro. Otani started his career as one of the premier Jr. Heavyweight wrestlers in New Japan Pro-Wrestling alongside Jushin Thunder Liger, El Samurai, and Koji Kanemoto in the 1990s. He would late become a perennial heavyweight contender, wrestling primarily for Pro Wrestling Zero1, for where he is also President of the promotion. Otani has also competed in the United States before, working in World Championship Wrestling and was even a WCW Cruiserweight Champion.
On April 4, he will appear at AIW’s Slumber Party Massacre event, facing Eddie Kingston for the first time ever.
