Joey Ryan Updates His Injury Status
Joey Ryan posted on social media earlier today, updating the status of his pectoral injury. Ryan suffered an acute tear in his pectoral muscle last month, which required for him to have surgery and cancel the rest of his dates for 2018. Instead of taking the surgery, a specialist recommended physical therapy and if successful, he could return to the ring faster than anticipated.

Although my doctor recommended surgery, the specialist she sent me to says he sees little benefit to me having the surgery. He’s starting me on physical therapy and says if I respond well, I could be back wrestling a full schedule sooner than expected.
