Curtis Axel recently lost his grandfather, the legendary Larry Hennig, and the third-generation superstar is thanking fans and the wrestling world for the support that they have given him. Axel posted a new message on social media for how kind they have been to him since the news broke of Hennig’s unfortunate passing.
It reads:
On behalf of the entire Hennig Family, Thank You @TripleH @StephanieMcMahon, @WWE past and present roster, numerous independent wrestling associations & WWE Universe for all the texts, tweets & messages. Papa Axe will be missed! It is very much appreciated & makes us proud knowing the impact he has had not only in our lives but the huge impact he had within the wrestling industry. He was a pillar in paving the way for many of us to stand in the ring today. He undoubtedly lived & loved wrestling! Your love and support is helping us through this tragic time. We Thank You All!
