Katsuya Kitamura Back In Training
Katsuya Kitamura took to instagram to share a pic of him training in what appears to be the New Japan Dojo. The since deleted pic was his first major update since he suffered a leg injury in a scooter accident. There is no update on if or when Kitamura will return to the ring.
Chris Charlton Added To Wrestle Kingdom 13 Team
Chris Charlton, author of Lion’s Pride: The Turbulent History of New Japan Pro Wrestling and EGGSHELLS: Pro Wrestling In The Tokyo Dome, will be joining the English commentary team for Wrestle Kingdom 13. Charlton has been invaluable for his on-the-spot translations for NJPW events throughout the year, and will be making his Tokyo Dome debut on the Jan. 4th broadcast.
2019 makes 30 years of Dome wrestling, and #njwk13 is the last Dome show of the Heisei era.
