Many fans have been worried about the future of the United Kingdom regional wrestling scene after NXT UK deals were reportedly tightened with additional restrictions. However, NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne isn’t among them. He believes that the same scene that propelled him to stardom will be just fine.
“British wrestling is safe,” said Dunne, who most recently competed at NXT TakeOver: War Games. “[It] will continue to grow, the talent pool is deep. Your favourite wrestlers are achieving goals and taking steps in their career.” He went on to warn fans not to believe every speculative story they see online, and then said that the scene is “alive and well.”
