It turns out that The Miz is quite good as a face. The WWE superstar has slowly been turning away from his evil heel ways, and he played the babyface role to perfection in a celebrated dark match after SmackDown ended against WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. As he cut a promo thanking the fans, he revealed how much it meant to him that the fans were embracing him.
“My entire career in WWE, I don’t think I’ve ever had this amazing of a reaction,” remarked The Miz at the thousands in attendance chanting for him. “Four nights [of] WWE! Saturday, NXT TakeOver. Sunday, Survivor Series. Monday Night RAW. And the best for last, SmackDown Live! For every single superstar in NXT, RAW and SmackDown, we want to thank you Hollywood. We want to thank you Los Angeles because as much as I consider myself awesome, for the past four days you and the Staples Center have been awesome!”
