Not only did Chad Gable and Bobby Roode get to make a bunch of pee jokes at Drake Maverick, but they’re next in line for a WWE RAW Tag Team Championship shot. The duo took on current champions Authors of Pain tonight, and were able to pull off an upset victory.
Here’s how Lovell Porter recapped the match:
Akam runs over Gable. Akam tosses Gable clear across the ring. AoP hit an atomic drop/knee lift combo on Gable. Rezar puts Gable in a Canadian backbreaker. Gable counters it into a sleeper. Rezar slams Gable to the mat. Spinebuster by Rezar. Gable traps Rezar in a rope hang arm breaker. Gable tags in Rezar. Roode clears the ring. Roode and Gable set up their finisher. Akam pushes Roode out of the ring. Gable dives off the top into a sunset flip. Gable gets the three count!
