AJ Styles Reportedly Negotiating New WWE Contract

AJ Styles is reportedly negotiating a new WWE deal that would see him have a more limited schedule.

According to Fightful.com, Styles is in talks for a new deal that would see him working a schedule similar to Randy Orton’s if Styles’ terms are met. Orton currently works a schedule that includes television appearances and limited live event dates. Two sources speaking to Fightful said Styles was in talks for a new deal, but only one of them was able to confirm Styles was looking at a new three-year deal.

Styles was said to be in support of dropping the WWE Championship recently because of the time he spent away from home and his family over the course of the past year.

AJ Styles signed with WWE in January 2016 and debuted later that month as the third entrant in the Royal Rumble match in Orlando.
