WWE Survivor Series 2019 Set for Chicago, WWE Presenting New Four-Day Residency

In today’s Chicago Red Eye, WWE confirmed that the Allstate Arena just outside of Chicago, will host the 2019 Survivor Series weekend on November 22-25.

“WWE is so proud of our relationship with our fans in Chicago,” said John Saboor, the WWE Executive Vice President of Special Events in the article. “Allstate Arena, going back to when it was known as Rosemont Horizon, has been such an important partner of WWE, dating back to the ’80s.” Saboor went on to express that WWE superstars consistently express Chicago is one of their favorite audiences to perform for live.

WWE will have a first for the Windy City wrestling fans. With Smackdown moving to the FOX Network on Fridays in the fall of 2019, this 4 day run will begin with the ‘Blue Brand’ on Friday followed by NXT on Saturday, Survivor Series on Sunday, and finally RAW broadcasting on USA Network.

Chicago has been one of WWE’s strongest markets for decades hosting numerous memorable TV, Pay-Per-View, and Live Events. The Allstate Arena formerly known as Rosemont Horizon, previously hosted the Survivor Series in 1989.
