In what was billed as an interbrand dream match between the RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and SmackDown’s Charlotte Flair, the match ended in a disqualification when Flair attacked Rousey with a kendo stick. The extremely physical match-up had Flair attack her after escaping multiple armbar attempts from the champion. In an apparent heel turn from Charlotte, he assaulted Rousey with continuous kendo stick shots, a Natural Selection on the chair, and pillmanizing the throat of Rousey with a chair.
Referees would try to break up the assault, but they were also attacked by an enraged Flair.
