Twenty years ago today arguably one of the greatest main event runs in the history of WWE began, when The Rock captured his first WWE Championship. The Great One had been gradually making his way up through the ranks of the main roster, and with a helping hand from Vince McMahon, he was able to finally ascend to the world title after years of trying. Now, twenty years on, Johnson is one of the most famous faces on the planet and is being tipped to return to the ring at WrestleMania 35.
